Since reading Marcus’s book several years ago. I have prayed for
him every day that his mind, body and soul will come to peace and
once again he can enjoy life. The shooting of his dog is heartbreaking
to say the least. Please pass on to Marcus that there are people like
me out here that GREATLY Admire him for doing his job and hold
him in high regard for serving our country when others run away.
We need more men like him. Can’t you tell I am a military brat.
As a single mom and professional mom – I work on teaching my kids
to do right by others and I have had them read Marcus’s book to
see that life is not all about making money. Life is about
serving others and making life better for others.
I would love some day to meet Marcuss Lutrell in person just to
shake his hand and say Thank You.
Tell him to keep the faith and keep his chin up. This too shall
pass.

I have read Marcus’ book Lone Survivor, this man is what America is all about. As for getting in trouble with the law over an alleged assault. The only thing Marcus should be guilty of is not doing this idiot in. I’m not a Navey SEAL nor have I been in any branch of the military but when someone starts talking down our President and or Troops they have the right to their opinion but they also have the right to have their ass whooped clear into whatever country they think is better than ours. Marcus is a true American hero and there more people than not that will agree to that and stand behind him. My hat is off to Marcus and the others in our Armed Forces that do the job they are trained for and ordered to perform day in and day out without respect from these idiots that dare to call themselves Americans.

The difficult part to swallow, besides the lack of empathy or pleasure in an innocent’s pain, is the painful truth that Marcus and his SEAL brothers sacrificed their lives on a daily basis in the name of patriotism. This patriotism is bonded by the powers of freedom and pride that we as Americans should share. These disrespectful and sadly growing number of teens, destroy the image of the country Marcus and his brothers have fought so hard to protect. The fact that any attorney would take their case, obviously only in the name of money, is a display of the avarice and corruption that resides in America. I hope that justice will be served, and not only will the boys be punished, but their attitude of self-righteousness and imperviousness, might be shattered.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My husband, a decorated Vietnam vet, and I had a chocolate labrador for 13 years. We had to have her put to sleep for a heart condition. I think he cried more than I did, so I understand. We’ve never had children so she was our baby. I am truly sorry. I know you will never forget her. It’s been almost 4 years and I still grieve every day. Again, I am truly sorry.

This is major. Every other media outlet, CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC… They’d rather discuss the latest person who kissed Obama’s a$$. Thank God we have Glenn Beck.
