I think your criticism is very straight forward on the presentation of Liberals being a bit “theoretical” in addressing situations. Even in today’s media the appraisal of humanitarian acts against barbarous enemies who would not consider sparing people who do not share their views is really appalling. I can agree with the presentation of the liberals being apologetic and legally theoretical in regulating the initiatives Rambo takes… Quite frankly, I don’t know how Liberals have contributed to the country by softening laws on criminals, also it would be funny just to send all of these pseudo intellectuals into a communist country…freedom was gained through sacrifice, not by an academic argument!

while cleaning the office room of my boss,this book lone survivor caught my attention and my curiosity,so i ask my boss if i can barrow and he said yes you can, that is a great book!now i’m in a half way reading.and while on the way reading it i can’t really imagine the hardships of the SEALS doing thier duty to protect thier country (i’m not an american am a filipino).it really touches my heart to the point that i’m crying while reading the book! For Marcus and others you guys a real hero and i salute you!!!

Marcus,
I can’t express in words how much I hope that those SOB’s get what’s coming to them. The fact that you gave nearly EVERYTHING for EVERYONE in this country to have a free life, and freedom to make our own choices. I wish they could be sent to a third world country to see how justice is carried out for those kinds of sinister crimes!!! Pieces of S**T like those don’t realize that GREAT people like you and all of the GREAT men and women of our armed forces, sacrifice SO MUCH and often EVERYTHING, we can all sleep peacefully at night, and also, so that someone good or bad is able to have a fair trial. Anywhere else, and it WOULD be eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. I just PRAY that when judgement day comes for them,God will have no mercy on there souls!!! I was not able to serve in the armed forces due to severe asthma. I’d give ANYTHING to be in the military!!! I hold the MOST HIGHEST respect for EVERYONE in the armed forces!!! You are a TRUE american hero, you and your family are and always will be in my prayers. Thanks for serving for us ALL!!!!

Since reading Marcus’s book several years ago. I have prayed for
him every day that his mind, body and soul will come to peace and
once again he can enjoy life. The shooting of his dog is heartbreaking
to say the least. Please pass on to Marcus that there are people like
me out here that GREATLY Admire him for doing his job and hold
him in high regard for serving our country when others run away.
We need more men like him. Can’t you tell I am a military brat.
As a single mom and professional mom – I work on teaching my kids
to do right by others and I have had them read Marcus’s book to
see that life is not all about making money. Life is about
serving others and making life better for others.
I would love some day to meet Marcuss Lutrell in person just to
shake his hand and say Thank You.
Tell him to keep the faith and keep his chin up. This too shall
pass.

I have read Marcus’ book Lone Survivor, this man is what America is all about. As for getting in trouble with the law over an alleged assault. The only thing Marcus should be guilty of is not doing this idiot in. I’m not a Navey SEAL nor have I been in any branch of the military but when someone starts talking down our President and or Troops they have the right to their opinion but they also have the right to have their ass whooped clear into whatever country they think is better than ours. Marcus is a true American hero and there more people than not that will agree to that and stand behind him. My hat is off to Marcus and the others in our Armed Forces that do the job they are trained for and ordered to perform day in and day out without respect from these idiots that dare to call themselves Americans.
