Glenn Beck spoke at length on Marcus’ situation on Beck’s radio show this morning. Marcus’ troubles have nothing to do with the NYC arrest that I speculated on in my last post.
It seems that Marcus continues to suffer from injuries sustain during Operation Red Wing.
Additionally, a group of men shot and killed Marcus’ dog ‘Dasy’, each letter representing former SEAL team members that were killed in combat with Luttrell. Luttrell apparently confronted the armed men which led to a car chase through four counties before Luttrell was able to run the men’s vehicle off the road. The men were arrested by Texas Rangers called by Luttrell in pursuit. During the arrest, one of the men rather comically threatened Luttrell’s life.
Apparently, the men responsible for killing Marcus’ dog were wanted in a series of dog shootings.
Glenn Beck will have Luttrell on his Fox News show today at 5pm ET to talk about the incident. Beck promised to have mug shots of the perps.

My prayers are with Marcus and his beloved dog. He said Dasy was like a daughter to him. Anyone with a pet knows that feeling. Those cowardly pieces of crap need to pay for what they did. I say give Marcus 10 minutes with them. I think they would be begging for mercy. They do not deserve any. Marcus is an American hero. This story makes me sick. Marcus, I am so sorry for all your pain.
Dear Marcus, I am deeply sorry to hear the story about you and your companion (your beloved dog) and feel outrage for the thugs that commited this crime. As if you haven’t already been through enough, one must be inspired by your honor, your loyalty, your patriotism, your courage and your love for our country. I commend you. I am so sad about where this country is going,but if I could,I would hold you in my arms ,stroke your hair and let you know every second that you are loved,appreciated,wanted,needed and cherished every moment of your life. I was driving home from work & called my husband.
He started to tell me what happened to Daisy. I cried.
People do not know unless they have their own animals that they are the biggest part of our life . They love us unconditionally, they have our hearts. For all that you have given to keep us Free , from the bottom of our hearts, I am so sorry you have had this happened in your life. To your Mom, Thank-you for your son, and the man he has turned into. Marcus words I can not say for the heart felt sorrow of this horriable act that has come apon you once again. If there is anything we can do to help, please let Glenn tell us.You conducted yourself as a true responsable person in the heat of moment. with your pain for Daisy, you are truly a Gentleman.Again we hope & pray that the court system will throw the book at these unwanted perisites,and let this never happen to anyone else again. I am so very sorry for your loss. My husband, a decorated Vietnam vet, and I had a chocolate labrador for 13 years. We had to have her put to sleep for a heart condition. I think he cried more than I did, so I understand. We’ve never had children so she was our baby. I am truly sorry. I know you will never forget her. It’s been almost 4 years and I still grieve every day. Again, I am truly sorry.

The difficult part to swallow, besides the lack of empathy or pleasure in an innocent’s pain, is the painful truth that Marcus and his SEAL brothers sacrificed their lives on a daily basis in the name of patriotism. This patriotism is bonded by the powers of freedom and pride that we as Americans should share. These disrespectful and sadly growing number of teens, destroy the image of the country Marcus and his brothers have fought so hard to protect. The fact that any attorney would take their case, obviously only in the name of money, is a display of the avarice and corruption that resides in America. I hope that justice will be served, and not only will the boys be punished, but their attitude of self-righteousness and imperviousness, might be shattered.

I can’t express in words how much I hope that those SOB’s get what’s coming to them. The fact that you gave nearly EVERYTHING for EVERYONE in this country to have a free life, and freedom to make our own choices. I wish they could be sent to a third world country to see how justice is carried out for those kinds of sinister crimes!!! Pieces of S**T like those don’t realize that GREAT people like you and all of the GREAT men and women of our armed forces, sacrifice SO MUCH and often EVERYTHING, we can all sleep peacefully at night, and also, so that someone good or bad is able to have a fair trial. Anywhere else, and it WOULD be eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. I just PRAY that when judgement day comes for them,God will have no mercy on there souls!!! I was not able to serve in the armed forces due to severe asthma. I’d give ANYTHING to be in the military!!! I hold the MOST HIGHEST respect for EVERYONE in the armed forces!!! If someone murdered my dog I would surely make them suffer. Marcus showed great restraint. I hope the guys who killed this innocent companion of Mr. Lutrell live a life of pain and agony. The most honorable thing the suspects can do is commit suicide.
Mr. Luttrell is a true Patriotic American Hero! He is the man I would follow into battle any day, any time! Much thanks and praise to the men of the Special Forces, SEALs, Army Rangers, Delta Force, and all those who fight in combat for America.
