Now scheduled for conference on Friday, January 9 and Friday, January 16.

 
The application for stay and/or injunction was denied this morning.
Like Donofrio v. Wells, Wrotnowski v. Bysiewicz was listed under Orders in Pending Cases.  As well, Certiorari was NOT denied.

 
Took another look at the Donofrio v. Wells filing at SCOTUS which can be found here as I wanted to review the nature of the stay request. 
The stay was not in relation to the electoral college vote as I previously erroneously blogged.
The filing dated November 3, 2008, the day prior to the election, contained a request [...]

 
Round two:  The second case, Wrotnowski v. Bysiewicz, regarding Obama’s qualifications to be POTUS is set for conference this Friday, December 12, at the Supreme Court.
The case docket has been updated: Justice Scalia submitted the case to the full court for conference
Donofrio believes the Wrotnowski case is procedurally more sound that his own case.  Stay tuned.

 
SCOTUS has declined the stay application filed by Donofrio.
The media is reporting that the case has been denied. 
But a closer examination shows the stay (of the electoral college vote) was denied. Notice that the Writ of Certiorari, a petition to have the Supreme Court review the decision of a lower court,  has not been denied.  Cases [...]

 
It looks like the petition for a Writ of Certiorari may have been denied at the full Court’s conference today.  
The Donofrio case challenged Obama’s eligibility to be POTUS.
Per scotusblog. com in only two cases today was the cert granted — Donofrio v. Wells was not one of them.
